Even So, Let Grace Reign to Eternal Life

Eternal: that which is without beginning and end — that which always has been and always will be.

Read

Today’s reading is: Romans 5:21

. . .so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (NKJV)
. . .so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (NET)
. . .so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (NASB)

 Reflect

Think about the scriptural text you just read and take from it what the Lord wants to give you. Repeat the text to yourself. Memorize it. Allow it to sink into you.

Respond

Talk to the Lord about what you discovered during your time of reflection. Ask Him to reveal the true meaning of the scripture to you and how you can apply it to your life.

Rest

Finally, simply rest in the Word of God and in His presence. Abide in the Lord and allow Him to abide in you by and through His Word.
