Eternal: that which is without beginning and end — that which always has been and always will be.
Today’s reading is: Titus 1:2
. . .in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. (NKJV)
. . .in hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the ages began. (NET)
. . .in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago. (NASB)
Think about the scriptural text you just read and take from it what the Lord wants to give you. Repeat the text to yourself. Memorize it. Allow it to sink into you.
Talk to the Lord about what you discovered during your time of reflection. Ask Him to reveal the true meaning of the scripture to you and how you can apply it to your life.
Finally, simply rest in the Word of God and in His presence. Abide in the Lord and allow Him to abide in you by and through His Word.
